Since Spaulding concentrates on developing families for the older, abused, and neglected children, we must raise approximately $4,000 from our friends to provide adoption services for each child who is sent to us. Each gift is very meaningful to us and makes a significant difference in the life of a child.

Established in 1968, Spaulding was the first Agency in the country to specialize in the placement of children with special needs. Today the Agency provides foster care, adoption services, and crisis intervention to nearly 600 Detroit area children and families annually and has trained over 72,000 people nationwide since 1985.
