Dear Dr. Piazza:
On behalf of the BVA, National President, and the Board of Directors,
we would like to thank you for your kind and generous contribution.
Your continued support is deeply appreciated, and you can be
assured your donation will be channeled into BVA’s
outreach and service activities on behalf of all blinded veterans.
BVA has reached out to America’s blinded veterans for more
than fifty years. We have expanded our outreach and assistance
services to meet the needs of a growing number of men and women
veterans who are losing their sight in later years due to the aging
process. Although their blindness in not necessarily due to combat
wounds, we believe it is very important to do what we can to ensure
that these veterans receive the quality care and assistance the
Department of Veterans Affairs can provide.
Clearly, the challenges facing BVA in its 50 years are daunting;
but, with friends like you, we will be able to provide the necessary
services.
For tax purposes, please be advised that the Blinded Veterans
Association provided no goods or services for your gift. Thank
you again for your generosity.
Sincerely,
Neil Appleby
National President
