Dear Ignatius:
On behalf of the Board and staff of Scholarship
America I want to send to you my own personal expression
of thanks for your important gift to Scholarship
America’s Annual Fund. As you are aware, your
donation to Scholarship America will help us to reach
more and more deserving students, expanding their
opportunities for educational achievement for their
lives and careers.
At Scholarship America we are proud that we have
been ranked for seven years in a row by Smart Money,
the Wall Street Journal Magazine of Personal Business,
as one of America’s most efficient nonprofit
organizations. This ranking provides our donors an
assurance that their gifts to Scholarship America
will be effectively used.
Our mission for Scholarship America is large. We
are seeking to make a positive and lasting difference
in the lives of students throughout America. We are
grateful for your support in helping us to realize
this vision.
With best wishes,
Sincerely,
William Nelsen

Dear Mr. Piazza:
Scholarship America thanks you for your recent gift.
Your thoughtful gift is a vital investment in the
future of our country and the young people
who benefit. In September of 2003, more than 103,000
students
received scholarships through Scholarship America
programs like Dollars for Scholars. These students
received
more than $142 million dollars in scholarship assistance.
Your support of Scholarship America makes this happen.
For so many of these students, these scholarships
make the difference. At Scholarship America, we like
to tell students that Now You Can! That’s right!
Now You Can pursue your dreams. Now You Can be a doctor,
a nurse, an engineer, a scientist, a social worker,
a teacher, an accountant.
Your gift proclaims Now You Can to every student.
Max Kelley is a first year student at Alfred Technical
College in New York. He received $1,000 scholarship.
Max, is the first in his family to attend college and
is determined to succeed. “I feel like I’ve
already accomplished a lot,” Max said. He added, “Hopefully
I’ll accomplish a whole lot more with postsecondary
schooling, wind up being independent… It feels
great knowing that I can look at something and know
I can do it.” Max is studying to be an electrician.
Max knows the meaning of Now You Can.
Thank you helping Max and thousands like him. If you
have questions about Scholarship America or its Dollars
for Scholars, Scholarship Management Services, and
ScholarShop programs, give us a call or drop us a line.
If you would like to know how to volunteer, or create
a lasting legacy gift, give us a call. Now You Can
make a difference is the lives of so many.
Sincerely,
Douglas H. Scott
