I am always moved by the generosity expressed by member of the Make-A-Wish family supporters. The donations we receive come from diverse people from a cross section of cities and towns across the United States. What makes our supporters - including you - part of one special “community” is your dedication to children with life-threatening illnesses. I know many people who support our organization have never witnessed a mother cry with appreciation and happiness as her child is invigorated by a wish come true, or stood with a wish kid trembling with excitement as his new tree house is unveiled to him. You are making these events happen, again and again. Trust me, I have seen the amazing responses your generosity creates.

We are so thankful for your contribution to the Foundation. Your contribution, will enable the Foundation to create moments of hope, strength, and joy for children with life-threatening illnesses across America. Those moments will include huge grins, squeals of euphoria, long huge tears of happiness, and vivid memories that will not fade with time. I guarantee it.

If you don’t already sense the warmth of the Make-A-Wish experience, I hope you will feel it soon. It is there. Can you imagine the energy bursting from 97,000 wish kids as their greatest dreams materialize? Can you feel the appreciation of parents as they watch their kids enjoy a respite from hospital visits, operations, and treatments? Can you hear a child who whispers “thank you” over and over? I do.
